Who Does She Think She Is? hosted by charismatic finance expert Mele Miller, explores the audacious financial and professional journeys of remarkable Black women. With humor, honesty, and a good cocktail, Mele invites fellow Black women to share stories of fearlessly entering unconventional spaces, achieving personal successes, and facing financial setbacks, head on.
Mele becomes the trusted money mentor we always deserved while disrupting the same biased systems she endured to get to the top.

“WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?”

I know this question well and it used to silence and shame me. As a Black woman in the finance industry, I’ve been met with confusion, apprehension, disrespect, and disapproval.
Who do I think I am to take up space?

My entire life has been an exercise in introducing myself. So, I come ready. I know exactly who I am and introduce myself early and often until people forget their assumptions and only recognize my truth.

I am Mele Miller and I am the future of money culture.

Work-Life Balance Isn't Real

Mele Miller challenges the conventional notion of work-life balance, labeling it a financial fraud for working women. We introduce the concept of life integration, emphasizing the importance of aligning personal values with professional responsibilities. Mele outlines five essential steps for achieving life integration: self-awareness, honesty, communication, organization, and integration. We argue that true fulfillment comes from blending various aspects of life rather than trying to balance them separately, ultimately linking mindfulness and personal well-being to financial success.
