Three Rooms is a podcast that opens the front door to the most personal stories behind the places we call home. Each episode, award-winning journalist and homes magazine editor, Loma-Ann Marks, invites her guest to take listeners on a journey through three rooms in homes and properties that have shaped their lives.

From childhood bedrooms to first apartments, kitchen tables to creative sanctuaries — each space reveals powerful memories, surprising insights, and intimate reflections. By the end of every episode, a deeply personal home is built from these rooms, layered with emotion, nostalgia and character.

Three Rooms is a unique insight into the significance of home, because often where we are makes us who we are.

Alan Edwards

Few figures in British music have shaped the public image of artists quite like Alan Edwards. As one of the most influential music PRs of the past four decades, he’s been the force behind some of the industry’s most iconic names, including Prince, David Bowie and The Spice Girls, navigating fame, controversy and cultural moments with a rare mix of instinct and strategy.

In this episode of Three Rooms, Alan reflects on the spaces that have defined him. From the Covent Garden office where careers were built to a 'big birthday' party venue, he shares candid insights and stories.

This episode takes us behind-the-scenes of music and popular culture, and is Alan's uniquely thoughtful look at what it means to manage image in an age where everyone is their own publicist.

See more from Alan here and discover his book I Was There: Dispatches from a Life in Rock and Roll.

Banjo first hit our screens in 2022 as the winner of Interior Design Masters and his storied, salvage style, was quickly in-demand.

Originally from Australia, until recently Banjo lived on the Isle of Mull with husband Ro and their dog Grampa. Now, they reside on the nearby Isle of Ulva and are renovating Ulva House, as documented on the BBC's recent Banjo and Ro's Grand Island Hotel . Sign up here to keep up-to-date with their progress

Banjo has written two books: Wild Isle Style and A Place in Scotland, and presents BAFTA-winning series Designing the Hebrides and Scotland’s
Home of the Year.

His three rooms are a beautiful reflection of his story, and reflect how his taste and style originated. As he says: “I’m a magpie for the gloriously odd.”

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen

Interiors icon Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen shares his most significant Three Rooms and so much more.

From rejecting the modernists ( "they were total misogynists") beige anoraks and tupperware to the swagger of having an old person's railcard, the fever dream that is Teatro Olimpico di Vincenza and replying to social media haters from his bathtub, Laurence reveals his story. The reason behind his interiors flamboyance, why he's never really judging and how numbers are the root of all problems.
