<title>Growing Pains: The Struggles That Shaped Me This Season</title>
<description>Season 1 of Reign Check taught me one thing: growth doesn’t happen without growing pains.

In this special Best Of finale, I’m looking back at the realest moments from my journey this season: the struggles that shaped me, the lessons that broke me open, and the growth I never saw coming.

From eating lunch alone in the bathroom, to navigating toxic friendships, to carrying the pressure of being “Timbaland’s daughter,” to rebuilding my faith in God, this season has been about learning who I am through every struggle.

This episode brings together the most powerful clips from the season, all centered on the theme of growing pains. If you’ve ever struggled with loneliness, felt like you had to live up to impossible expectations, or wondered how to start over with God, this one’s for you.

✨ What you’ll hear in this episode:

How loneliness became my greatest teacher

<title>How I Found A Way Back To My Faith Again</title>
<description>"Why am I struggling if God is so great?"

In this segment of Reign Check, I open up about a chapter of my faith journey that I rarely talk about—when God felt distant, church felt routine, and my faith became something I kept in the background. I share what it was like growing up in a Christian home, going to a Christian school, and still feeling like I didn’t have a real relationship with God. I talk about the pressure to “look” like a believer, the rules that felt more important than the relationship, and the moment I realized I was faking it—not just to others, but to myself. If you’ve ever sat in church wondering if anyone else was even listening, or struggled to connect with God beyond the rituals, this conversation is for you.

<title>6: How I Built My Own Relationship with God: My Honest Faith Story</title>
<description>"I give myself grace by just simply knowing that I don't have it all figured out and that that's okay. I don't have my relationship with God figured out yet. That's okay."

In this deeply personal solo episode of Reign Check, I open up about my faith journey. I share how I went from growing up in a God-centered home, to struggling with my relationship with God, to slowly discovering my own way of knowing Him.

I talk about the confusion, the guilt, and the “lukewarm” years when faith felt like a chore instead of a choice. For a long time, I thought I had to clean myself up before God would want me back. What I didn’t know is that He was never keeping score and He wanted me exactly as I was.

Whether you have been avoiding God because you feel unworthy, grew up following someone else’s faith, or just don’t know where to start, this episode is your reminder that it’s never too late to build your own relationship with Him.

KEY POINTS:

- Growing up in a Christian home with strong religious traditions

- What I learned from years of church, prayer, and Bible studies

- Teenage confusion: Do I really have to follow every single religious rule?

- Struggling to be vulnerable with both my parents and with God

- Seeing hypocrisy: People sinning but still calling themselves “Christian”

- Why your faith must be personal and not just based on rules or tradition

- How to start seeking God in a way that feels real to you

- The peace and clarity that comes from truly connecting with God

- Building a genuine relationship with God, even if it takes time

- How Jeremiah 29:11 has shaped my perspective on faith

- The reminder that God has a purpose and plan for your life

QUOTES:

"I had to do that by stepping away from my parents' faith, my grandparents' faith... I am going to find God on my own."

"Be okay with where you are with your faith today. It's okay to know that your faith is where it's at right now, but know where your faith is."

“It was hard for me, because I was trying to learn myself, and then I also wanted to build a relationship with God. But then I also started seeing all these to me. I was like, all these, all these protocols, like all these rules. I did not understand it.”

"As long as God keeps waking you up, he still has a plan for you."

"God sees all your sins. God sees all your glories, yet he still loves you. No matter what God says: Come as you are."

<title>The Biggest Thing You Taught Me About Being a Father</title>
<description>This is one of those moments I’ll never forget.

In this part of our conversation, my dad opens up about the moment he realized he needed to step back and just let me become me. From hair comments that cut deep to expectations I placed on myself just trying to live up to who my parents were, we talk about what it really means to see each other clearly.

This is about love, accountability, and learning to parent and be parented with softness. If you’ve ever struggled with wanting to make your parents proud without losing yourself, I think this will hit home.

<title>5: Timbaland on Fame, Fatherhood &amp; Raising Reign</title>
<description>Today’s guest needs no introduction—he’s a Grammy-winning producer and cultural icon. But in this episode, he’s not here as Timbaland. He’s here as my dad.

In this raw and real conversation, Timothy Moseley opens up about fatherhood, faith, and the moments that matter most. We talk about what it looks like to rebuild trust, reconnect emotionally, and show up not just in career, but in love and legacy.

From his childhood in Norfolk, Virginia to building a creative empire, my dad shares the stories, missteps, and growth that shaped him. Whether you’re a creative, a parent, or simply navigating what it means to be seen, this episode holds something for you.

🗣️ “I always held myself to these really high expectations… especially growing up in the house that I did.”

KEY POINTS:

- Growing up in Norfolk: How music and family shaped Timbaland’s early life

- The unexpected link between video games and Timbaland’s musical genius

- How God gave Timbaland purpose and why faith keeps him grounded

-  The highs of fame vs. the quiet need to be present as a father

- Rebuilding trust: what it looks like to reconnect as father and daughter

- Timbaland on the challenge of raising daughters with love, not control

- Letting go of perfection and learning to just show up

- Timbaland’s advice for creatives and parents

QUOTES:

      <title>Divorce Through Both Our Eyes: A Mother-Daughter Conversation</title>
<description>In this vulnerable conversation, my mom and I open up about something most people avoid: what really happens when parents stay in a relationship “for the kids,” and how divorce reshapes the family dynamic.

I share the moment I realized my mom stayed longer than she should have, just so we could grow up with two parents. And she opens up about the heartbreak, the healing, and the hard truth about trying to find love again in her 40s while raising kids who weren’t ready to see her with anyone but our dad.

This episode is a love letter to every woman who gave up parts of herself to hold a home together… and a reminder that moms are humans, too.

<title>4: What My Mom Taught Me About Love, Sacrifice, and Knowing Your Worth</title>
<description>“At a young age, it's weird to see your mom crying. And then she says, ‘Oh no, baby, these are happy tears.’”

In this vulnerable conversation, my mom and I open up about something most people avoid: what really happens when parents stay in a relationship “for the kids,” and how divorce reshapes the family dynamic.

If you’ve ever looked at your parents and thought “I wish I understood them better…” this one’s for you.

KEY POINTS:

- How childhood wounds shape the woman you become

- Why being a problem-solver became Monique’s survival skill

- How she raised each of her kids differently on purpose

- The unspoken sacrifices that live inside the mother-daughter bond

- What it really took to survive as a single mom, financially and emotionally

- Dating after divorce: The uncomfortable truths no one prepares you for

- On choosing self-love and gratitude when the world expects you to break

- Her most annoying habits (according to me), go-to advice, and secret superpower

- Grace over perfection: Monique’s message to every young woman starting out

QUOTES:

“You taught me that I matter to you through your behaviors, through the way you celebrate me.”

"Everything for me is about my wellness and holistic perspective. I have to pour into myself so I can show up for all the other aspects of my life."

"I've always given you all the room to make your own decisions within reason, right? And a lot of parents don't do that.”

“I tell everybody [that] they deserve a daughter — because you showed me that I matter and I thank you for that.”

      <title>The Friendship That Changed Me</title>
<description>This was the friendship that felt like sisterhood - until I realized we were both secretly trying to be each other.

She was everything I thought I wasn’t: confident, beautiful, the kind of girl who just had it. And I wanted to keep up. I wanted to look like her, talk like her, be her. But it messed with my head more than I knew.

In this moment, I’m opening up about what it’s like to lose yourself in comparison, chase someone else’s pace, and feel unprepared for a life you’re expected to have figured out.

Sometimes growing up feels like a race - this is what happened when I finally stepped off the track.

<title>3: The Truth About My Life, My Family, and Finding Myself</title>
<description>“The little things about yourself matter.”

In this deeply personal episode of Reign Check, I open up about what it’s like growing up in a spotlight that was never mine and what it took to finally start chasing my own. From trying everything - basketball, DJing, acting, even lacrosse 😅 - I spent years performing identities that weren’t truly mine.

But this episode isn’t just about fame or expectations. It’s about the quiet pressure so many of us carry. The need to fit in. To be noticed. To be perfect.

I talk about growing up in Miami, navigating private school cliques, losing friends, struggling with body image, and finding peace in the unexpected things - like horses, acting, and finally learning to love myself without needing a reason.

If you’ve ever felt lost in someone else’s dream...If you’ve ever looked around and asked, “Why don’t I feel like enough?”If you’re still figuring out who you are...

This one’s for you.

Let this be your permission to grow slowly, love loudly, and stop chasing the version of you that was never yours to begin with.

KEY POINTS:

- The common struggle of self-discovery and identity

- On the pressure of being known as “someone's daughter or sister”

- Who am I? Trying various hobbies, finding personal interests

- The importance of persistence and self-acceptance

- On being compared and expected to live up to siblings’ achievements

- Reminder: It’s okay not to be PEFECT

- Conforming to societal standards, beauty, and popularity

- Finding self-esteem, clique to ‘fit in’, and the right peers

- Life in Miami and its impact on Reign’s personal development

- Challenges and mental health struggles encountered

- Finding peace, self-love, and self-acceptance

- The pivotal role of having a supportive network of friends and family

- The need to have a balance between personal expectations and reality

- Focus on your happiness and embrace your current journey

QUOTES:

"Life is just life. It's what you make it that makes it amazing, or makes it however you want to make it."

"I don't think I've ever met somebody who is certain on who they are."

"Most of the time, you just want to be noticed."

"I was constantly known as somebody's daughter or somebody's sister."

"I couldn't even accept who I was."

"There's never a limit to how much you can know or how much you can do. It's the limit that you put yourself."

<title>2: Welcome to the Group Chat: Letting Go of Fake Friends &amp; Finding Your People</title>
<description>"Quality over quantity is so important in friendship."

In this episode of Reign Check, I’m joined by my real-life besties: Zaiya, Kyana, and Leila, for a hilarious, honest, and unfiltered conversation about real friendship. From first impressions and awkward meetups to getting called out, we’re talking about what it really takes to build lasting bonds.

We unpack everything from how our moms low-key forced our first hangout, the pressure to be liked vs. being real, toxic friendships and letting go of the popular crowd, and college stress, identity struggles, and showing up as your full self

Whether you’re navigating high school, college, or just trying to find your “real ones,” this episode is your reminder that quality over quantity really does matter.

KEY POINTS:

- First interaction: awkward intros, weird vibes, &amp; breaking the ice

- The struggles of building new friendships

- How to detect if someone is being a fake friend…

- Social media and its impact on friendship and self-esteem

- Favorite adventures during the Bahamas trip

- How jealousy (ruins it all and) reflects someone’s deep insecurities

- Mixed emotions discussing plans and pressures of going to college

- The importance of friendships in building character and providing emotional support

- Advice for navigating friendships – being with the right people

- The pivotal role of genuine friendships, vulnerability, and self-awareness

QUOTES:

"I consider friendships like my family. I don't think there's a line between the two besides your blood, and you're not blood."

"Who you surround yourself with says a lot about you."

“Friendships help build your character. That's why I think it's really important who you surround yourself with, because who you surround yourself with says a lot about you.”

"If you feel like you can't say things to your friends or be 100% yourself to your friends, they are not your friends."

"One of my biggest pet peeves is – how can you be friends with somebody but still talk bad about them."

<title>1: Alone vs. Lonely: How I Found Strength in Solitude</title>
<description>“I let myself be alone, I let myself feel it, not as something to be ashamed of or think I was broken, but as a moment to just be.”

In this premiere episode of Reign Check, I open up about my journey from people-pleasing and escaping loneliness to finding power in solitude.

For years, I believed being alone meant being unwanted. I threw big parties, bought friendships, and constantly shapeshifted to fit in - hoping it would make me feel seen and accepted. But underneath it all was a fear of sitting with my true self.

In this episode, I share the moments that shifted everything for me: when I realized that solitude isn’t a punishment - it’s a pathway to self-discovery.

Tune in as I unpack how I learned to stop chasing validation and start embracing independence for what it truly is: a beautiful and liberating thing.

KEY POINTS:

- The chameleon effect: How I changed myself just to fit in

- Material validation - Using gifts to "buy" friendship and acceptance

- How Reign felt most lonely when surrounded by people

- The unhealthy habit of being “busy” to escape my insecurities

- Finding more meaning in a few authentic connections

- The importance of surrounding myself with people who lift me up

- Solitude is seen as a strength and empowering rather than shameful

- Learning who I truly am when not performing for others

- Accepting that embracing aloneness is a process, not an overnight change

QUOTES:

“Even though I wanted to be seen so much, I actually hid myself from the world so much more.”

“Once it started getting into the point where I was buying love for people, it started becoming I was forcing myself to be seen. I was forcing myself to be heard. I was forcing other people to look at me—And that's where you start disappearing.”

“I get to be okay with the fact that at the end of the day, I'm always going to be here for myself through it all, through all the chameleon effects, through all the popularity stages, through all the weirdo stages, I am always here for myself.”

“Instead of just trying to fit in or trying to surround myself with people who didn't fulfill me or didn't make me feel wanted or wanted to be there, I let myself be alone. I let myself feel it.”

      <title>Reign Check Official Trailer</title>
<description>First episode drops June 18 at 6PM EST.

This isn’t your average teen podcast.

Welcome to Season 1 of Reign Check - where the unfiltered energy of a slumber party meets honest, real-world conversations about what it’s actually like growing up right now.

Hosted by Reign Mosley, this podcast peels back the layers of being a teenager in today’s world - the friendships, the pressure, the growth, the chaos - and all the things we don’t post about.

Whether it’s spiraling over a text left on read, unpacking identity, or navigating friendships that don’t feel so friendly, Reign Check is where it all gets talked about - without filters, but with heart.

✨ Real talk. 💬 Big laughs. 😭 A few tears. And 100% authenticity. This is for every teen trying to figure it out in real time.

Hit follow, share it with a friend, and get ready to press play. The check-in starts June 11 at 6PM EST.
