<title>Creator Chat: Gabriel Urbina talks THE HARBINGERS</title>
<description>Today, Gabriel Urbina drops by 224B to chat about his brand new show, The Harbingers, which co-stars our very own Lauren Grace Thompson! The first three episodes are available RIGHT NOW wherever you listen to podcasts, and we are delighted to share the first episode with you today!

Adam Blackwell is the most powerful man in the world. But he hasn't always been. Five years ago he was just a humble grad student at Sinclair University. How did he go from a nobody to the world's first modern magician? And once he got that power, what has he done with it?

Be advised: this episode contains depictions of drinking and smoking, as well as strong language and discussions of politics. It also contains mentions, though not depictions, of violence, death, war crimes, the Holocaust, and a large-scale disaster. Listener discretion is advised.

The Harbingers was created by Gabriel Urbina. Today's episode was written by Gabriel Urbina, directed and sound designed by Jeffrey Nils Gardner, and executive produced by Eleanor Hyde. It featured the voices of Andrés Enriquez as Adam Blackwell, Lauren Grace Thompson as Amy Stirling, Emmy Bean as Claudia Skinner, and Kristen DiMercurio as Erica Pfeiffer. It also featured the voice of Olivia Love-Hatlestad. The original music for the series is by Nicholas Podany, and the original art is by Cassie J. Allen. Recording engineering and dialogue editing by Zhuolin Wu. This is an Audacious Machine production.

      <title>Fawx &amp; Stallion Season Two Trailer!</title>
<description>We are so excited to announce that Fawx &amp; Stallion second season-long mystery, The Case of the Precarious Park, will be premiering on November 11th, 2024!

LONDON, 1891. At the press night of London’s first ever merriment park, and James Stallion’s newest investment venture, a ghastly and theatrical murder is committed, and its intended target appears to be one of the illustrious residents of 221B Baker Street. The only problem is that he’s since vanished, leaving only the residents of 224 to solve the case. And this time, every eye in London will be turned to them…

Episodes 1-6 will release bi-weekly on Mondays at 5 AM CST, and then we will take a brief hiatus before returning with episodes 7-10. All episodes will be available two days early to our Indiegogo backers at the Press Pass level and above, though we will ask you to refrain from sharing any spoilers for reasons that will very quickly become apparent.

This trailer was sound designed by Newton Schottelkotte and featured the voices of Jeremy Thompson, Chris Vizurraga, Katie McLean Hainsworth, Chris Hainsworth, Sam Hubbard, Rachel Jones, Daniel Millhouse, Sarah Price, Trey Plutnicki, Evin McQuistion, Ian Geers, Zack McKenna, Jay Donley, Wesley Scott, and Allie Babich.

      <title>Presenting: Divorce Ranch</title>
<description>Hello detectives! We are about to wrap recordings on season 2--in fact, we invite you to join us on September 28th as we take over the Fable and Folly Instagram account and take you inside our final recording of the season!
In the meantime, however, we want to invite you to check out a fantastic show called Divorce Ranch! Not only is Divorce Ranch a full cast, grand-scale whodunit, and not only is it a show that toes the line between comedy and drama, and not only is it a contained, under-3-hour story with a second season soon to come—it also takes an irreverent look at history that is both authentic and fresh, with new, modern perspectives on a the past about the people who get left in the margins of history. For listeners of Fawx &amp; Stallion that like any and all of those things in our show, we think you will love Divorce Ranch. In fact, we’re so sure of it that we’re sharing their first episode on the feed today. From our detectives to theirs, we hope you enjoy.

Find more information on their website, and find them wherever you listen to podcasts!

      <title>Presenting: Sorry About The Murder</title>
<description>Hello detectives! We are past the halfway point of our recordings for season 2 of Fawx &amp; Stallion, and can’t wait to share this brand new mystery later this year! In the meantime, though, we wanted to share another show on our network, Fable &amp; Folly, with you—today, we’re happy to showcase the first episode of Sorry About the Murder. The show is a murder mystery fiction podcast set in the nice little Canadian town of Beavermount, Ontario. Every day in the nice little Canadian town of Beavermount, Ontario, a Zamboni driver must solve a grisly murder to clear his name…and ready the ice for that night’s hockey game. It feels a bit like Murder She Wrote meets Death By Dying, wrapped up in an incredibly fun mystery. So today, we hope you enjoy episode one of Sorry about the Murder!

<title>Mini-Mystery: The Case of the Missing Magician</title>
<description>Hello detectives--something different today! To celebrate our crowdfund, we decided to run what we call a Solve-A-Thon–we ran a series of five polls on our social media accounts over the weekend so that you, the listeners, could help us craft a mystery–we asked you to select a client, a crime, a location, an object, and a clue, which you so generously did. Then, on Sunday and Monday, we wrote this mini-mystery, and last night, Tuesday, we recorded it with the fantastic Jeremy Thompson (Hampton Fawx). Today, it arrives to you, hand crafted by the listeners, for the listeners, the result of a marathon of deduction!

Support our crowdfund at the link HERE.

Written by Ian Geers and Lauren Grace Thompson

Performed by Jeremy Thompson (Hampton Fawx)

Theme by Baldemar.

They cover everything from the Jeremy Brett Granada series (a personal favorite), the Frogwares game series, BBC Sherlock, plays like Chris Walsh’s Miss Holmes, and even Veggie Tales. We’re so excited to share with you our interview with Ian and Evan about Fawx &amp; Stallion where we discuss adaptation for audio, writing mysteries, and a bit about season 2. If you like this episode, go check out their amazing back catalog--and Lauren's upcoming guest episode covering BBC Sherlock...

      <link>http://224bbaker.com</link>
<description>Fawx and Stallion is an upcoming multi-season comedy-mystery about the best detective team on Baker Street! (Not that one.)

Behind the doors of 221B Baker Street, the greatest detective of all time and his loyal doctor friend solve some of the most befuddling, prestigious, glamorous, and exciting cases the public has ever seen, turning themselves into legends in the process. Across the street and slightly to the left, behind the doors of 224B, lives another pair of detectives, waiting for their chance in the spotlight. And when Holmes and Watson leave town on a case, and a woman shows up at their doorstep in dire straits, that very chance appears…

The first episode of Fawx and Stallion is currently live exclusively on Apollo. Episode One will premiere on September 19th, 2022!

Fawx and Stallion is a member of the Fable and Folly Network.

Written by Ian Geers and Lauren Grace Thompson. Sound designed by Sarah Buchynski. Voices included Jeremy Thompson (Hampton Fawx), Chris Vizurraga (James Stallion), and Katie McLean Hainsworth (Madge Stallion).
