However, with as complicated as life can be at times, we believe we have a God who meets us in all of our messy moments, and desires to help us learn, heal, grow, and ultimately become the best versions of ourselves.

This sacred place at the feet of Jesus is always inclusive. No one deserves to be at His feet based on anything we have done. We all belong at His feet because He created us to be with Him from the very beginning of time. It is the place of the purest and most perfect love—the place of highest human dignity as His beloved.

In Season 1 of our Belonging series, we explored our belonging to God through Jesus' miracles of healing. In this season, Season 2, we will gain a further glimpse into our belonging through some of Jesus' other miracles, such as His feeding of the 5,000 and turning water into wine at a wedding celebration. No one ever has to defend their belonging to God. Jesus does that for us through His life and miracles.

Our first series for 2024 is entitled “New Wine.” This series takes on the metaphor of both the new wine and old wineskins and the metaphors of the Vineyard, The Gardener, and the Vine and the Branches. All of these metaphors lead us to one thing: God is faithful to be a good gardener, the Vine of which we are branches and New Wine. We will be discussing Spiritual Disciplines, why we sometimes need to throw off old traditions and find new containers for what God is giving us, and how we can consistently follow a faithful God in 2024.
