They had received a call from a man stating that someone had broken into the home of his ex-wife and he found her face down on her deck with a pillowcase over her head. She was bound with zip ties and the back door was wide open. When they arrived, Rodney Metzer was on the front porch, holding onto a bruised woman. Morgan Metzer was found to have been brutally attacked. A search of Rodney's phone showed an obsession with his ex. He was arrested at her residence after Morgan claimed that she had suspicions that he was her attacker. In his apartment, they found a book called "7 ways to be her hero." Investigators theorized that Rodney had created this scheme to attack his ex, make her a victim and then become her savior to win her back. No one had believed Morgan when she stated that their decade long marriage was full of abuse and gaslighting. They had finalized their divorce, the month prior. The DA stated, “This defendant planned a violent attack on his ex-wife that included breaking into her home, disguising himself, and pistol-whipping her. He left her outside on a cold winter night, face down, tied up with a pillowcase over her head. I cannot imagine how terrifying this must have been for her. Back in 2017 in Erie, Illinois, Connie and Larry Van Oosten were a married retired couple who would be kidnapped from their home.  About a day later, 30 miles away from Erie in Albany, a woman would walk into the First Trust and Savings bank. She was still dressed in her pajamas and gave the bank teller a cashier’s check for $350,000. This was made out to a company called The Store Edge.  At the same time, the woman slipped a handwritten letter to the teller. This stated, “I am here under duress. Please call the police. My husband and I are being held at gunpoint. Do not react. Do not follow us.” Investigators had discovered that the company The Store Edge that was written on the check left at the bank, was owned by a man named Chad Schipper. With this discovery, he became the prime suspect. As police zeroed in on the home residence, his wife and six children were woken up in the middle of the night with police demanding to know where Chad was. After a high speed chase ended in the arrest of their prime suspect, investigators searched his rental home. They would also locate a room with a screen that appeared to be showing security footage. An elderly couple were seen in a concrete room shackled to a wall forced to stand up and blindfolded. There were no stairs to be seen, only a ladder against the wall. As they began removing the floors, they would uncover a steel-lined door in a closet that led to a soundproofed underground cellar. The couple were weak from lack of food and sleep. They were both bruised and showing signs of hypothermia. ]]> 2331 no 7YO Kidnapped & Murdered, 30 YEARS Later Killer Has Confessed On July 24th, Morgan Violi was right outside of the apartment building with her sister and the friends they had made where they lived. They were all playing when Morgan would vanish.Witnesses stated that a white man grabbed Morgan and put her into a Maroon Chevrolet van and drove away. One witness remembered the van was burgundy with a KY license plate containing the letters MN and said that the male was white in his 20s with shoulder length brown hair, unshaven, a thin build, a tanned complexion and was wearing blue jeans and a white-t-shirt. 2 days later, the van involved in the kidnapping had been located near in Franklin, TN, about an hour drive from Bowling Green. 3 months later, on October 20th 1996, in White House, Tennessee, about 30 minutes from where the van was abandoned, Morgan's body was found. She had been murdered. While Morgan’s father Glen himself admitted that he failed 5 lie-detector tests, the FBI special agents stated that they’ve never named him as a suspect. In 2015, 18 years since Morgan’s abduction, the FBI began investigating a new case that they believed to be eerily similar to Morgan’s. This was another murder of a 7 year old girl in Scottsville, KY. Scottsville was 30 minutes from Bowling Green. 7 year old Gabriella "Gabbi" Doolin was watching a youth football game of her older brother on November 15th 2015 when she vanished. Her body was found in a creek 400 yards from the game. Ruled a homicide due to strangulation and drowning. A week later, DNA found at the scene was linked to 38 year old Timothy Madden. on February 27th 2026 that they could officially name a suspect in the kidnapping and murder of Morgon Violi. Not her father, not Tony Scott Redemann, not even Timothy Madden. This was a 62 year old named Robert Froburg. But he was an inmate and had been since all the way back before 1996. They were all playing when Morgan would vanish.Witnesses stated that a white man grabbed Morgan and put her into a Maroon Chevrolet van and drove away. One witness remembered the van was burgundy with a KY license plate containing the letters MN and said that the male was white in his 20s with shoulder length brown hair, unshaven, a thin build, a tanned complexion and was wearing blue jeans and a white-t-shirt.

2 days later, the van involved in the kidnapping had been located near in Franklin, TN, about an hour drive from Bowling Green. 3 months later, on October 20th 1996, in White House, Tennessee, about 30 minutes from where the van was abandoned, Morgan's body was found. She had been murdered. While Morgan’s father Glen himself admitted that he failed 5 lie-detector tests, the FBI special agents stated that they’ve never named him as a suspect.

ON December 9th 2001, she left her home to go Christmas shopping for the kids. She was allegedly headed to a nearby Wal-Mart. She left around 8:30pm and headed to the shopping area in Martinsville, VA which was about 17 miles away from the home. She took her green 1995 Pontiac TransSport Van and went alone. She never made it home that night. 22 days later, she had not returned. She was reported missing on December 31st 2001. Oddly enough, there was another woman who vanished a few months prior to Michelle in the same area. 33 year old Angela Whalen Hudson vanished in Ruffin, NC about 20 minutes from Eden. Angela was last seen on September 20th 2001 by her husband Robert Hudson at her home. ]]> 2179 3 Teens Murdered, 14 Year Old Killer Vanished, Should His DAD Pay the Price? On December 26th 2021 police were called to a Texaco gas station in Garland Texas. Garland PD arrived at 730 W Walnut St that evening to find 4 victims. They all appeared to be teenagers. CCTV footage of the incident was located in the gas station. The victims deceased inside were found to be 14 year old Xavier Gonzales, 6 year old Ivan Noyola and 17 year old Rafael Garcia.  Now, upon full examination of the CCTV footage, Detective Lucas Shupe, the lead on the case would explain that when the white pickup truck pulled into the lot, there were 2 occupants, the driver who was an adult male and the teen passenger. The teen didn’t leave the vehicle upon arrival. Instead, it was the adult male who went into the store and purchased medicine, looking around the store. He then returned to the truck and appeared to be talking to the passenger. Both were seen pointing inside the store. The truck then backed up, circling around the store through the fuel pumps. They left the view of the camera briefly before returning. This time, the teen exited the truck. He now had on a baseball cap and a mask, the kind we all know well from covid. He was wearing dark colored shorts, dark colored slides and no shirt. He headed to the front of the store, opened the door and began killing. 14 year old Abel Acosta was charged with murder, however vanished that day and has not been seen since. This is a deep dive into the massive compilation of information regarding a murder discovered within a house fire and teenage sons gone missing. Two separate trials, 3 suspects but outcomes you would never expect. Present in this case is manipulation, false statements, sick behavior, past trauma, past convictions and many different versions of the same story. The murder of Terry King and the conviction of his preteen sons Derek King and Alex King. Back on November 26th 2001 in Cantonment, Florida a 911 call came in around 1:30 in the morning about a family home on fire. He believed the owner was inside, a man named Terry Lee King. He could see Terry’s car in the driveway. Firefighters found that the home was completely locked from the inside. They kicked down the doors and rushed inside to stop the fire. They went room to room searching for anyone inside. One of the detectives would accidentally touch a foot before realizing there was a body. They would locate a man sitting in a chair with his legs up on a sofa. He was fully dressed with shoes and a camouflage jacket on. A coffee cup was sitting beside him on the chair. He was found to be deceased. He was pronounced dead at 2:02am. After 30 minutes, the fire was extinguished.  The homicide team was quickly called as firefighters found that this was a typical death by fire. This man had injuries to his head and blood spatter was found on the walls. While he was taken for an autopsy and identified to be 40 year old Terry King, arson investigators were canvassing the home.  However, it was known that Terry had two young sons. On the evening of Saturday April 24th 2021, he had gone to a birthday party at a rural home belonging to James "Jimmy" Wade. Jimmy pointed the officer to the stairs and they went to the second floor. As they entered the bedroom, Jimmy pointed to a door that led to an unfinished area. He had to step on the rafters for footing because there was no floor. Then the deputy saw the body of a Black male between the rafters. He was laying on his back and was unmoving and silent.  Derontae’s family learned of his death the following morning from other family members, not the police. April 29th, Madison County SD announced the results of the preliminary investigation stating that he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Fredericktown home. His mother never believed this was the case. A man then called the police stating that he was concerned for the welfare of an individual and gave the address. This was a home in Twekesbury, Gloucestershire, England. Police responded to the call that evening and inside the residence, found a frightened and gaunt victim who smelled strongly of body odor. They would learn that a 40 year old woman had been held captive here for the last 25 years. She had gone missing as a 16 year old and had been found alive after all these years. Mother of 10 Amanda Wixon was charged with false imprisonment, 2 charges of requiring a person to perform forced labor and 3 charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
