In this episode I travel between the mines of the former working colliery at Apedale Heritage Centre and Middleport's Pottery museum, linking up with volunteers involved in proto-type project 'Pit to Pots' led by Middleport communications manager Sarah Nadin. The future hope of this venture is of engaging the communities of North Staffordshire and the Potteries with their heritage, through an interactive guided tour, and enabling people to see just how the industries of Mining and Pottery are entwined.
