When was your Shakespeare born?

The aim of this podcast 'When Was Your Shakespeare Born?' is to share with students and academics personal and professional experiences related to the study of Shakespeare. We see this as a timely intervention in the context of a pronounced tendency in the Humanities towards the so-called 'cancel culture' which targets many authors that have made the Western canon. All the speakers are either instructors or PhD students in the Department of English Language and Literature who are actively involved in promoting Shakespeare Studies and the various approaches that they can generate. It is our hope that our personal and academic journey will inspire others to join us and thus contribute to the promotion of English Studies in general.
