And it was a good night to do so as Trev Alberts took to the radio earlier in the evening to announce that Frank Solich would be coming back to Memorial Stadium to be honored at the annual Red-White Spring Game (Apr 22, 2023).

We talk about that, Coach Rhule’s and his staff, a Spring Football update (Jersey Numbers, Roster Management, etc) and do a recap of last weeks big recruiting weekend (have you heard of this kid named Dylan Raiola?).

The Matts (Honke and Mac) kick off the offseason, as well as their own little spin-off of the Go Big Redcast, by welcoming the King of Kool-Aid himself: Dave from Husk Guys. We caution, there are a couple more swears than a normal Redcast in this one (nothing too terrible), but this is just what happens when you get the together talking a little Husker football.

Fan Four’em: Rob Zatechka (8/18/22)

Honke welcomes Rob Zatechka of the Doc Talk Podcast on to the Fan Four’em. They discuss how he became a Husker fan early in life after moving to Lincoln from the enemy territory of East Lansing, MI. Then it’s on to his playing days at NU, where he was part of the 1994 team that gave Coach Tom Osborne his first national championship at Nebraska. He was also a member of the greatest offensive line in Husker History, affectionately nicknamed “The Pipeline.”

Lastly, we went in depth into offensive line play and what Coach Raiola is doing different this season with the players from previous season. You won’t want to miss this…GBR!

Now he’s back in the Good Life and ready to get rolling with Spring Ball on February 28 and to earn a spot on the Pipeline.
