If you're going to turn your dreams and visions into reality, the first step is to believe in yourself. It doesn't matter if someone thinks you're not capable. What's important is how you see yourself.

You will have experiences along the way that will make you question your worth. But you have to realize that even the negative feelings can direct you to a particular path or serve as your guideline to create your dream business. Focus on the things you can do to get where you want to be.

It's scary to dive into something that you've never done before. What's an old story that you're holding on to? What's the new belief that you want to build upon? It's up to you to decipher what's true and what's not true for you. Your reality is what you make it. In case you fail after trying, that's okay, each day is a new beginning to start over again.

Thus, I've always strived for a growth mindset. I take the time to pause and think, "How do I get a growth mindset, especially when things aren't working out?"

I encourage you to find a peaceful place where you can reflect and ask yourself, "What do I need to do differently to get the result that I want?" Our beliefs dictate our thoughts, which create our feelings and emotions. Then, it creates our actions, which then lead to our results. The results that you get depends on how dedicated you are to make them come to fruition.

Based on my experiences, I have proven that you can create whatever you want from a growth mindset because you're continually evolving and shifting. Number one is to have your own back. We're raised in a society where we aren't taught to have our backs. We have our parents and teachers who taught us to depend on one another. But it makes us less powerful from what we can be doing for ourselves. If no one has themselves, it's tough to be reliable and join forces with others.

Having your own back is when you say you're going to do something or say you're not going to do something, and you can firmly stand in that power and have your own back when the situation or circumstances shift.

Take the time to pause and check the core intention you want to see being fulfilled? And if you have made a strong declaration with your words, then make sure that you can hold to those, because that's what we need in this world.

Part Two of ‘Self-Sufficient Me’

Number two is to give a voice to all of the thoughts and then be able to choose which ones you want to bring into your reality. Our words are powerful. If negative thoughts are battling inside your head, you're never going to take those more significant steps forward and see change happen.

You must give voice to all of the thoughts because all the thoughts want to be heard. They're there for a reason for safety, for protection, for comfort. Step into an empowered place of choosing which thoughts you want to keep, and you'll be surprised it will allow you to move forward in your life with so much more ease.

Number three is kindness. A lot of times, we are looking externally to receive that love and receive that support. And you can see this third step kind of slips into the second one as well because there is a moment where you get to choose how you love yourself.

I dare you to take at least one step that you can refine for this week. You don't need to do all three. All three will come naturally. Just take one that excites you the most. Dig into it a little bit deeper this week and see what comes up for you.

Yogananda established a World Brotherhood Colony at his Self-Realization Fellowship Encinitas center in Southern California and found that organizing spiritual communities for families along the lines he envisioned would take much more time than he then had available.

Your limiting beliefs have shaped everything that you do. You have to get rid of them in order to rise up to the next level. In this week's episode, Rae Irelan talks about overcoming limiting beliefs in under ten minutes.

Part One of ‘Overcome Limiting Beliefs in Under Ten Minutes’

Do you sometimes feel like you're trapped in a cage? These are profound questions to ask. What are you doing in there? Then you realize that the front door is actually open, but you never even thought of checking.

You see that it's been open this whole time. What happens next? You keep running in circles. You keep listening to the voices that are in your head and making decisions based on your limiting beliefs.

Your limiting beliefs hinder you from being the best version of yourself. They stop you from being in a place of integrity, congruence, love, and unity. They keep you playing small. Get started by being clear on what a limiting belief is. It's best if you can boil it down to one sentence.

Limiting beliefs are usually something that you've been dealing with your whole life. They could be holding you back for some time. If not your entire life. These could even be deeply felt ancestral beliefs.

The first area that you can look at is your body. You want to be able to be physical. You can get active. Release limiting beliefs stored in your physical body. Go for a run. Take a dance or a yoga class. Go for a walk. Hit the gym. Go out surfing. Go for whatever gets your body moving and your blood pumping.

You'll start to feel the physical shifts happen. When you bring the intentional release of limiting beliefs into that picture, it can be powerful. When you're in this state being very physical while in the middle of the exercise, you can release your limiting beliefs.

Part Two of ‘Overcome Limiting Beliefs in Under Ten Minutes’

Make a journal about limiting beliefs that stick in your mind. Allow your mind to wander, to understand it. Look at it from different angles. Write it out. It's that outward expression of what you're internally going through. What you're shifting. Circle the limiting belief. Allow words to fall onto the paper.

Pursue what brings you into a spiritual state. Sitting in meditation. Enjoy nature. It's vital to know that you're not just trying to get rid of them. We're giving those limiting beliefs a voice. Recognizing our ultimate power as the creators of our life. It's all up to you. It all depends on how you want to live.

If you're struggling to be consistent when it comes to gratitude, you're not alone. Certain personality factors can act as barriers to gratitude. Nevertheless, no matter how unfortunate our circumstances may be, we can always choose to be grateful. In this week's episode, Rae Irelan talks about being thankful for what you have.

Part One of ‘Being Grateful for What You Have’

Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more you will have to express gratitude. Gratitude is the highest frequency that you can experience as a human, and sometimes it feels like one million bucks. It could be one of your favorites, but the most challenging tool to acquire.

How do you feel gratitude throughout every day? The hardest time to remember the practice of gratitude is usually when you're feeling low, frustrated, suffering, angry, or sad. At the same time, this is when practicing gratitude is essential. When you're going through tough times, it isn't very easy to feel that vibration of gratitude and to come into a new state of being. We can't control everything that's happening around us or identify in advance how intense they're going to be. But don't lose hope because there are certain things you need to put into practice daily, so you can develop that gratitude attitude.

Part Two of ‘Being Grateful for What You Have’

Consider creating a gratitude list. You use a journal, you can do it on a mirror, and you can create gratitude lists on sticky notes that you end up posting around your home to remind you of all that you're grateful for. The gratitude list comprises the things that you are thankful for in your life.

This can be anything that you're thankful for. You can start appreciating the small stuff that you have, such as your loved ones, the items that you love, having enough oxygen to breathe, water to drink, clothes to wear, being surrounded by good people, or simply being alive. You have to practice being grateful both for the small and big things in life.

Whatever's out there, experience it, feel it, and tap into that gratitude for what we do have on this planet. It's so abundant. If you're feeling super ambitious, see if you can do the gratitude practice every day for 30 days. They say it takes 30 days to create a change, to create a new pattern. See what is possible when you really implement gratitude into your life. It's a little bit harder with all the distractions around us.
