The debut episode of 'Lost Clubs' sees Tom and Daz dig into the story of Aldershot F.C., an English Football League club who folded in 1992. Of course we all know of the current Aldershot Town and everybody who was associated with the original Shots will no doubt be proud of how quickly and strongly the new club has come back from the dead, but it did not just happen with the flick of a switch. In this episode we are very pleased to have been able to speak to Andy Meyer who gave us a great overview of the highs and lows of being involved with the Shots. We also managed to interview a former player who had three separate spells with the clubs in the form of Koo Dumbuya and last but not least we hear about how the new club was formed in The Crimea pub just outside of the Recreational Ground in a great final interview between Daz and Graham Brookland- one of the two people credited with reviving football in Aldershot.
