Certain parts of North London will be very happy, as Arsenal yet again beat Spurs at the Armitage Shanks Arena. Arsenal fans will be happy with this one, a hard fought 1-0 win over Tottenham without Odegaard or Rice, and Saka going off with what looks like a hamstring injury.

Man City's 115 allegations of rule breaking begins Monday 16th September in what could be a defining case and era for the Premier League as we know it. but on the pitch, Haaland scores a brace to bring his tally to 9 goals in just 4 games so far this season, FPL Managers who haven't got him in their team must be kicking themselves!

Everton, nobody knows what's happening with them, but the boys go in 2-footed on them as they throw away yet another 2 goal lead, succumbing to Aston Villa this time.

Finally, the Mystery Away Days Goal of the Week award, it's a tough one as the boys watch ALMOST LIVE a very contender.

Finally, the Premier League delivered a scorcher of a weekend with goals galore from all over the country with Sheffield United somehow scoring 3, Newcastle coming from 3-1 down to West Ham to secure an unlikely 4-3 win, then Manchester City & Arsenal played out perhaps one of the most boring uneventful games of football in PL history.

FDP Special - KMFM's Ben Pearce

Another FDP special this week; we have the incredible Ben Pearce joining the show this week! Ben currently heads up KMFM's The Hitlist show which airs Monday-Thursday 7pm-10pm. He shares some incredible stories, firstly how he got into the world of radio, but secondly just how nerve racking it can be meeting some childhood heroes, remember Big Brovaz?!

Ben gives some tips on how to be successful within radio and also podcasts (we took some of notes yes, before you ask!) whilst sharing his big fails on local radio with some not-well-thought-out feature ideas for the radio show.

Ben's a huge Manchester United fan, and gives some great fan perspective on what is going on there currently, a slight left-field choice for a new manager to take over from Ten Hag, plus a few digs at us Arsenal fans about a certain Robin van Persie!

S4 E34 - McDonald's Beer & Weekend Screamers

Will's been away over the weekend and decided to try the local delicacy, by visiting McDonald's in Spain! His mind was absolutely truly blown by the fact they served beer, and energy drinks there, why can't the UK McDonald's do this!?

We talk goalkeeping heroics with Will's son Jack almost single handedly winning a football tournament for his team with not 1 but 2 penalty saves, but sadly came at a cost. We had a weekend full of absolute screamers in the Premier League, with Brentford's Wissa & West Ham's Soucek shocking the crowds. Meanwhile Rashford had a mixed time in the Manchester derby with a worldie of a goal, then almost disappeared for the rest of the match, being usurped by Fantastic Foden.

Ben has finally returned to join Will & ali this week, and Will welcomes his back in the way he knows best, by taking the p*ss! We've had a few changes in managers over the last few days, with potentially more to follow, with Roy Hodgson leaving Crystal Palace and being replaced immediately by Oliver Glasner. Thomas Tuchel's Bayern Munich have lost their last 3 games in all competitions, most recently a 3-2 defeat at the hands on Bochum, with Bayern officials and senior figures discussing his future this week. West Ham have also hit a poor patch of form, with pressure mounting on David Moyes, who apparently according to Will has never been popular with the fans. Arsenal have hit a purple patch, with 21 goals in just 5 games so of course Will & Ben talk about it, to Ali's dismay!

Title challenges heating up around the Europe too, with Real Madrid pulling clear, Rangers taking a surprise lead, and Leverkusen pulling away too, and 3 teams seemingly in contention in the Premier League.

The magic of the FA Cup is truly alive with one of our local teams Maidstone United travelling to Ipswich, and beating them in their own backyard 2-1 with a fantastic audacious lob goal for the first. Unfortunate scenes however as 1 fan got a little too excited and dramatically fell from the tiered stands, however luckily the fan is all okay and more pride is hurt than anything else! Plus a huge upset down in Newport as Manchester United surprised their hosts with a 4-2 win.

Some big news coming from several clubs over the weekend, with the shock announcement from Liverpool FC and Jurgen Klopp, plus Xavi and Barcelona too.

Ben will be sadly taking a break for a few weeks from the podcast whilst he undergoes his operation after this weeks' episode, but Ali Campbell will be stepping in, making his predictions, and finishing our Top 10's of the season so far. This week brings you the Top 10's Midfielders which include CDM and CM, but not the traditional number 10 position.
