Not your usual Waffly Bollox content. This is a serious one: last year, we got sucked in by known cancer scammer Abbey Arthur, who befriended us and then lied to us in order to try to steal our money. And then, after she'd been outed, immediately came back to try again under yet another fake name.

We talked to the people who got caught up in her original cancer scam, we combed back through tweets to figure out how she tricked us, and we talked to a fraud investigator about his thoughts on her lies - and how to avoid getting scammed in the future.
