      <title>MURDERED: Eric "Nike" Jones</title>
<description>It's the late night hours in October, 1995, when a lone gunman storms into a Roanoke, Virginia home, shoots 21-year-old Eric "Nike" Jones in the chest, and flees. A witness at the home of calls police but cannot provide a helpful description of the suspect, and no physical evidence is collected from the scene. But days later, the same witness is shown a police lineup, and identifies 18-year-old Michael Crump as the shooter. After a short trial, Crump is found guilty and sentenced to nearly 40 years in prison. Tune in as Maggie sits down with fellow host of "Wrongful Conviction," Jason Flom, and the two discuss the tragic murder of Eric Jones, the subsequent arrest and abbreviated trial of Michael Crump, and the continued fight for truth.

      <title>MURDERED: Katie Janness</title>
<description>It's July, 2021, when 40-year-old midtown Atlanta resident, Katie Janness, and her dog are found dead in Piedmont Park, an epicenter for social activity and one of the largest green spaces in the city. Faulty security cameras in the park, plus a lack of physical evidence leaves police with little to go on, and the chilling nature of the crime scene leaves the community on edge, as residents begin to wonder if a serial killer is to blame? Tune in as Maggie sits down with retired Atlanta homicide detective and host of "Murder Mind" on Youtube, Vince Velazquez, and the two discuss Vince's conversations with detectives currently on the case, and take a look at the crime scene through the lens of a homicide detective who patrolled the same area where Katie Janness was found murdered.

<description>It's January, 2013, when 21-year-old college student Elisa Lam disappears after checking into LA's infamous Cecil Hotel. Elisa's family and police launch a search, but it isn't until weeks later that a hotel worker finds the body of Elisa Lam inside one of the Cecil Hotel's main water tanks. Police focus in on the sole piece of evidence, eerie security camera footage of Elisa from inside one of the hotel's elevators. The video shows a woman in a state of unexplainable crisis, leading many to wonder, what exactly happened to Elisa Lam? Tune in as Maggie goes through the tragic circumstances of Elisa's case, then stick around as Payne Lindsey sits down with Shane Pittman, host of "The Holzer Files" and "28 Days Haunted", and the two discuss Shane's perspective after spending countless hours inside buildings with dark pasts, much like the Cecil Hotel.

      <title>VANISHED: Jodi Huisentruit (RE-RELEASE)</title>
<description>When 27 year old reporter Jodi Huisentruit didn’t show up for her daily morning news segment on Tuesday, June 27, 1995, her colleagues banded together to produce the show in her absence. But as the morning rolled on, concerns began to grow that she may be in danger. Authorities were soon tasked with figuring out whether an unusual call to the news station that morning and Jodi’s scattered belongings in her apartment parking lot were potential clues to her disappearance. Listen in as Maggie is joined by “Rattled &amp; Shook's" Meredith Stedman as they try to unpack what happened to Iowa’s beloved missing news anchor.

      <title>Corresponding with Killers</title>
<description>Throughout the year we have highlighted multiple cases involving some of the most notorious serial killers in recent memory: Zodiac, Wayne Williams, Joel Rifkin, Freeway Phantom, and most recently, LISK. On this week's episode Maggie is joined by board-certified forensic psychologist and author, Dr. Jeffrey Smalldon. Dr. Smalldon has extensive experience evaluating murderers and has consulted on hundreds of death penalty cases. In his memoir, "That Beast Was Not Me: One Forensic Psychologist, Five Decades of Conversations with Killers," Dr. Smalldon details his time spent in communication with the country's most prolific serial killers, like John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, and Donald Harvey. Listen in as Dr. Smalldon takes Maggie through his experiences corresponding with killers, and the two discuss why it is important to understand what goes on inside the mind of a serial killer.

      <title>MURDERED: Asian Doe</title>
<description>It's December, 2010, when police discover the body of a young murdered woman in marshland off Ocean Parkway, Long Island. Over the following months, a total of eleven bodies are found in the area. It becomes clear to investigators that they have a serial killer on their hands. In time all of the victims are identified - except for one. With little evidence to aid in idenification, police dub the body of a young male victim found in women's clothing, "Asian Doe." Listen in as Maggie is joined by Trans Doe Task Force board member and forensic genetic genealogy expert, Viktor Veltstra, and the two discuss the factors that make identifying the only remaining unidentified victim of LISK, "Asian Doe," so difficult.

<description>When 26 year old Korrina Malinoski vanished from her rural South Carolina property in November 1987, her loved ones were desperate for answers. It wasn’t like her to stop communicating with them without explanation. But months later, in a strange twist, Korri’s daughter Annette disappeared from a bus stop in front of the home, leaving behind a mysterious note. Were these vanishings somehow linked? Many believe this was either a meticulously planned attempt to start a new life together, or the result of something more foreboding. Listen in as Maggie is joined by Payne Lindsey and the two discuss these unresolved disappearances and Payne’s on the ground investigation.

      <title>MURDERED: The Jennings 8</title>
<description>When a retiree out for some morning fishing cast his line into the Grand Marais Canal on Friday, May, 20, 2005 - an irreversible sequence of events was triggered. The discovery of a body launched an inquiry into a young woman’s death. But over the next several years the investigation would be muddied by the discovery of 7 additional bodies. The residents of Jennings, Louisiana have long suspected that these 8 deaths are somehow linked, and some attribute police incompetence or outright corruption to be the through line. Listen in as Maggie is joined by Matt Frederick, host of “Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know” and the two discuss the murders of “The Jennings 8" - taking into consideration how the town itself, documented with issues of corruption, and a few key players could possibly connect these murders together.

      <title>WRONGFUL CONVICTION: Toforest Johnson</title>
<description>When Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy William “Bill” Hardy, a 23 year veteran, was ruthlessly gunned down in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 19, 1995, authorities began to look for the person responsible for killing one of their own. As tips flooded in, two men quickly emerged as lead suspects. Prosecutors individually charged both men, Toforest Johnson and Ardragus Ford, as being a "sole gunman", but their trials led to very different outcomes. For nearly 30 years Toforest has been sitting on death row in Alabama, with an execution date fast approaching. Listen in as Maggie is joined by Tenderfoot TV’s Jaime Albright as they review this controversial case and the bizarre evidence that placed a potentially innocent man behind bars.

      <title>VANISHED: Denise Griffin</title>
<description>When New York State Troopers embarked on a high speed chase on Monday June 28, 1993, they did not foresee the scene they would soon stumble upon. Inside the vehicle they discovered the decomposing body of a woman. After interrogation the driver confessed to killing multiple women, and was found guilty of nine counts of second degree murder. But authorities’ work was just beginning. Even after 30 years, two of his victims remain unidentified. Listen in as Payne and Maggie unpack the depravity of convicted serial killer Joel Rifkin, and later sit down with Laurah Norton, host of “One Strange Thing” and “The Fall Line” to discuss how forensic science may help determine if a woman named Denise Griffin may in fact be one of Rifkin’s unidentified victims.

      <title>MURDERED: Mitrice Richardson</title>
<description>When the staff at Geoffrey’s restaurant in Malibu encountered a patron who was acting strangely on the evening of Wednesday, September 16, 2009, they called authorities in hopes they would get the woman some help. Authorities later released the woman, 24 year old Mitrice Richardson, in the middle of the night with no car, phone, or wallet. Nearly a year later Mitrice’s remains were found in a remote area of Malibu Canyon, but authorities have yet to determine what happened to her. Listen in as Maggie is joined by “Truer Crime’s” Celisia Stanton as they seek to determine where the fault lies in one of L.A.’s most prolific unsolved cases.

      <title>VANISHED: Jennifer Kesse</title>
<description>When Rob Allen tried to contact his girlfriend, 24 year old Jennifer Kesse, on the morning of Tuesday January 24, 2006, his call went straight to voicemail. Hours later her loved ones grew concerned when they still couldn’t reach her. Authorities initially chalked it up as a voluntary choice. But hours later Jennifer’s car was found abandoned nearby and a shadowy figure was caught on camera. The question now was whether it was somehow linked to the odd behavior of the workers in Jennifer’s complex. Listen in as Maggie is joined by Payne Lindsey and the two dig deep to consider what may have really happened in one of the highest profile missing person's cases from the early 2000’s.

But as the morning rolled on, concerns began to grow that she may be in danger. Authorities were soon tasked with figuring out whether an unusual call to the news station that morning and Jodi’s scattered belongings in her apartment parking lot were potential clues to her disappearance. Listen in as Maggie is joined by “Rattled &amp; Shook’s” Meredith Stedman as they try to unpack what happened to Iowa’s beloved missing news anchor.
