In Season 2, we take an in depth look at how Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) affect individuals and families. We interview experts in the field and hear how to screen for alcohol use in pregnant patients and for prenatal alcohol exposure in pediatric patients. We discuss how to talk to families about referring a child for an FASD assessment. We meet a mother who was told by her prenatal care provider that it was safe to drink during her pregnancy and hear about her son who was diagnosed with an FASD. Finally, we talk to a young adult who is affected by an FASD.</description>
