Edwin Forrest betrays Matilda Hays and doesn't hold up his end of the deal even though she delivered the gossip item as promised and Susan has decided to remount Romeo and Juliet with Edwin instead of her sister.

<p>The stagehands are instructed to strike the set as Romeo and Juliet has been canceled by the Haymaker Theatre. Charlotte admits the truth to her sister Susan and they have a falling out as the tension rises. Edwin Forrest betrays Matilda Hays and doesn't hold up his end of the deal even though she delivered the gossip item as promised and Susan has decided to remount Romeo and Juliet with Edwin instead of her sister.
