This is a huge reason most fighters say they have lost their love for MMA.

After fighters like Conor McGregor blew up by running their mouth and winning their fights.

Now fighters think talking shit or harassing people is the only way to make a name for themselves but what happens when you piss off the wrong person? What happens when a line is crossed between family beliefs and respect? The 135 lb champion of the 2019 Cage Titans speaks about the UFC run (FEB 2019)

Hear what it takes to be a fighter people want to watch and will listen to before he joins the UFC. PERRIN talks about what it takes to be a fighter people want to watch

While Perrin may appear to be the same person he was in 2023, he has had a very difficult journey to get there. Perrin says "I FIGHT FOR MORE THAN MYSELF, fights for the city he grew up in.. we all grew up poor without a silver spoon, and if I can do it so can you. You don't need to be some super-gifted athlete you just need to grind hard and when you fall get back up! To anyone who thinks they are down and OUT...YOU NOT!!!!"

Perrin's Early Career

In his early career, Perrin fought for regional promotions such as Cage Titans and CES MMA. He quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with, winning his first four professional fights via submission or TKO.

However, Perrin faced his first setback in 2018 when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Richie Santiago at CES MMA 50. Despite the setback, Perrin bounced back with a vengeance, winning his next four fights and capturing the Cage Titans bantamweight title in the process.

Perrin's UFC Debut

Perrin’s hard work and dedication paid off when he received the call to compete in the UFC. His debut came on August 22, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar, where he faced fellow newcomer, Jordan Griffin.

Although Perrin lost a close split decision, he showed that he belonged in the UFC with his gritty performance. He proved that he has the heart and determination to succeed at the highest level of MMA.

Perrin takes the motivation he receives from his closest friends who cannot be here any longer and turns it into a strength by channeling his higher power: the angels.

The UFC has yet to turn Jay down a challenge. Unfortunately being young and hungry with the glory of the biggest stage on the planet in their hands most fighters become gun hoes vs being focused on the long term within the organization. Sadly this leads to 3 fights with 2 losses that can have a very dark blemish on a fighter's value and future as their next contract negotiation approaches.

Perrin’s fighting style is characterized by his unpredictability and creativity. He is equally comfortable on the feet and on the ground, and he is always looking for ways to surprise his opponents with unorthodox techniques and strategies.

Boxing is a sport that requires a lot of sacrifices. You have to be willing to give up family time, holidays, and other important events in order to reach your goals. Roberto Duran Jr. understands this better than anyone, and he has made a conscious effort to prioritize his family while still pursuing his dreams.

Like many of us here reading this R.D.J. will share with us the insane obstacles he's come face to face with in his life, and exactly how he has maneuvered and adjusted himself so he could persevere. He has used his strength and determination to overcome challenges and become a champion. He understands that success doesn't come easy, and he has worked hard to achieve his goals.

FINDING A BALANCE!

Now as an adult, he has found a balance in his life. He understands the importance of family, and he has made a conscious effort to prioritize his family while still pursuing his dreams. He understands that success is not just about reaching your goals; it is also about finding balance in your life.

Balance is an important part of becoming a champion. You have to be able to find a balance between your goals and your personal life. With the right balance, you can become your own champion.

For me to say that Roberto Duran Jr. has been through a lot in his life would be an understatement, because the situations he found himself in over the years would be hard to imagine for anyone who hasn't grown up with an absent parent who is also a huge superstar.

Even after all of this R.D.J has clearly come out stronger for it. He has faced emotional and physical challenges and has emerged with a newfound strength. He has used this strength to become a champion in his own right.

The stories that are shared in this interview are the ones any Hollywood director would turn into a new-age ROCKY movie.

In my eyes, Roberto Duran JR is now slowly approaching what id consider the blossoming of a heartfelt, skin-chilling climax that will either fall on one side of the fence or the other. On one side the future may very well lead to Duran JR making it to the spotlight fight for the championship as his father attends for the very 1st time in his sons' career and win or lose there will for sure be that classic "ADRIANE" moment for the two. On the other side of the fence, Duran Jr gets lost in the smoke of life, losing his passion and resting his gloves by the open door that mirrors abandoned glory as his father's voice echoes in his mind "NO MAS".

Sadly this b side of the fence is a tale as old as time itself so we all must now sit and watch at the edge of our seats and witness one of God's very own tales that define humanity and the meaning of one's life.

Dennis Hallman shares the story about how he ended up inside the octagon with nothing but a speedo on that has now become an infamous moment in UFC history after Dana White was rumored to have paid Hallmans opponent a bonus just for finishing the fight so they could get Dennis and his banana hammock off the air!

He also a story that had NO FILTER about his beef with Ronda Rousey and Edmond during season 17 of The Ultimate Fighter where Hallman almost beat the stupid smirk off Edmonds face that was seen worldwide on live TV!

Now fighters think talking shit or harassing people is the only way to make a name for themselves but what happens when you piss off the wrong person? What happens when a line is crossed between family beliefs and respect? Do fighters know the difference anymore between promoting themselves or fighting and crossing the line where it becomes threatening?

What happens when the wrong person is offended? Social media is also another tool that people are using to push buttons and start a conflict. Damien makes some great points about this issue and wants to raise awareness of the dangers that one day will happen as we saw between Conor and Khabib a few months back. Where do we draw the line?

FLASHBACK SEPTEMBER 29TH 2017 the UFC just headlined UFC 215 Nunes vs Valentina Shevchenko 2 and Jon Jones Finished Daniel Cormier in their rematch fight at UFC 214 with a kick to the head followed by a true PEAK Beatdown from Jones Bones.

The MMA community was in its post-McGregor hype and new MMA fans were coming out of every direction making Twitter accounts and trying their best to act like they had been long time fans, the MMA Podcast scene saw a huge rise in new talents as The Fighter And The Kid was at the height of its popularity along with Joe Rogans Fight Companion (if I remember correctly).

Suddenly out of nowhere MMA fans began retweeting and sharing with all their friends and fighters these crazy accurate but Flying Circus-type portraits of every upcoming or post-fight and even some popular MMA news being made by a man that no one had ever heard before named Mojahed Fudailat!

With a few years under my belt and after finishing broadcasting school I couldn't help myself from reaching out to Mojahed Fudailat to ask for an interview with him about all the success and recognition he was getting in what seemed like an overnight permanent trend that would make so many of us get a good laugh after our long weeks struggling day to day threw life with only MMA being our go-to medicine.

These animated shorts were not just stupid parodies but he really nailed down the tiniest of details in every video that showed how well he had been following every headline and picking up on some of the smaller type headlines or stupid actions made by fighters and adding them into these animations.

It was the perfect storm at the time due to how strict the MMA community was getting with so many new faces acting like they had been around MMA forever but Mojahed Fudailat putting the tiniest details into every single video he put out only gave him the nod from the biggest names inside the scene like Joe Rogan, Tyron Woodley, and even Dana White Himself!

Once I reached out to Mojahed I was honestly surprised by how quickly he was to respond by asking me when we could do it! And to my surprise, no one else had ever even asked him for an interview or to come onto their show for some reason while he was in his prime of gaining millions on millions of views in total from every short animation he was putting out each week!

Here is one of my personal favorite GAME TYPE episodes from back in 2015 with TED CZECH and EVil Eddie where you at home could send in your TOP 5 LIST!

So when we refer to the "Apocalypse ( When we discussed what kind of an Apocalypse we would be trying to survive in we pictured more like a MAD MAX mixed with "The Walking Dead")

Even more interesting, Along with picking your fighters, you must also give a very good reason as to why that fighter would be a good asset to have on your team to survive.

THE ONLY RULES OR CAUTIONS

FOR PICKING YOUR TEAM:

1. Each fighter must have their own special skill and as we all know... NO ONE IS PERFECT... So maybe you would want McGregor on your team at the time but would his ego leave you for dead?
2. Is it a good idea to have all BIG GUYS? What would be the best weight class that holds all-around qualities for survival?
3. If you can only pick 5 fighters should you at least have one female to have on your team or two because in the end we may have to repopulate the earth with the most elite fighters (of 2016 in this case) so don't be picky
4. If you do have to repopulate earth who would be the best fit to create the next generation of children from your team?
5. Who would be able to get along the best and follow directions without causing any drama that may lead to danger?
6. Who would you pick as the team captain that everyone would respect and could make the best choices for battle, shelter, and handling conflicts or negotiating when running into other small tribes along our way?
7. Who would be able to help the team keep a high spirit when the days turn to weeks the weeks turn to months and then years?
8. How would you and your team travel around?
