      <link>https://share.transistor.fm/s/404b56ac</link>
<description>So what is it about authenticity that we crave on our social media feed? “Being genuine is a vital part of connecting with followers as, now more than ever, consumers are seeking authentic experiences and holding brands accountable for their content,” says Forbes reporter, Leslie Licano.
Our guest today, Izzy Lugo says that authenticity is the key ingredient in this recipe to success. Izzy is a fellow sneakerhead and podcast host. He’ll share about his journey to finding himself as well as the steps he took in order to get to a more authentic place. We also learn about how being authentic allowed him to find his path in his work and its importance to the art of storytelling.

      <title>From The Future With Love</title>
      <link>https://share.transistor.fm/s/2dc10051</link>
<description>What is love? In this episode with Ruben Rojas we go into the depths of what love is, what it is not, and paint a future of how to love well in all aspects of our lives.
Our guest is Ruben Rojas. By using the urban landscape as his canvas, Ruben encourages communities to change for the better through optimism and collaboration. These once vacant walls are now vibrant reminders that inspire those who see them to dream big, feel beautiful, live in possibility, and to love. Ruben’s murals can be seen in cities across the country and around the world from Paris to New York and Florida to Mississippi.
Ruben’s portfolio of work extends beyond murals. He is a TED speaker, helping spread the message of art creating impact, a product designer and also a corporate consultant.
Ruben works with companies to help businesses give back, enhance workspaces and raise awareness on important issues. Past campaigns include clients such as Toms, Reebok, American Express, &amp; GT’s Kombucha. Ruben is also co-founder of Beautify Earth, a nonprofit dedicated to putting an end to blighted walls and fixtures all over the world by empowering artists, encouraging social responsibility, and instilling community pride.

      <title>Comfort Not Guaranteed</title>
      <link>https://share.transistor.fm/s/d2361e26</link>
<description>Have you ever wanted something so badly but it just isn’t happening?
Maybe it’s scaling your business. Maybe it’s repairing your marriage. Maybe it’s making six figures. Maybe it’s transforming your work culture. Maybe it’s becoming a master at your craft.
No matter how hard you try, you can’t get there. Have you felt that sting? That uncomfortable pain isn’t something to run from. Embrace it. It’s necessary. That’s part of the price to pay to get what you want.
In this week’s episode, Kevin Carroll and Johan Martinez-Khalilian talk about his relationship with comfort, why he leaned into the discomfort, and how he said yes to a life of growth.
Kevin Carroll, the Katalyst, is on a mission to empower greatness in individuals and organizations through the power of positivity, creativity and play. Since 2004, more than 350,000 people from 200+ corporations, 150+ non-profit organizations, and dozens of schools around the world have been inspired by Kevin’s dynamic speaking engagements, coaching, facilitating and content creation.

      <title>No Shame in Your Game</title>
      <link>https://share.transistor.fm/s/d734b350</link>
<description>As a kid, basketball was everything to me. It kept me out of mischief. It taught me discipline and teamwork. It saved my life. I mean that sincerely. When I was thirteen, a Cobra walked up to me and asked, “Yo, you wanna be a Cobra?” No, a reptile didn’t walk up to me asking if I wanted to transform into a different species. Although, that life would be interesting. It would give sliding into the DM a whole new meaning. The Cobras were the gang in my neighborhood. Their hats were cocked to the right and they rocked black and green clothes. Wait it just hit me, these fools were Slytherin like before Harry Potter became popular! Knowing what I know now I should of hit him with that wingardium leviosa! Instead, my quick reply to his invitation was, “Nah, I just wanna hoop.” This moment wasn’t like an after school special. He didn’t say, “Join us or you’re dead!” He did say, “Word. Keep doing your thing, kid. We got your back.” Basketball was everything to me. It saved my life.

And I’m not the only one, in this episode, I had the pleasure of talking with someone who feels the same way. Pat Chambers, former men’s basketball coach at Penn State University. When Pat and I met he was unsure about his future in basketball, on this week's episode we will talk about his ascent to top tier Big Ten coach, descent from glory and his vision to resurrect his dream of being an NCAA men’s basketball coach.

      <link>https://share.transistor.fm/s/974cf4d1</link>
<description>Who do you idolize? Steve Jobs? Michael Jordan? Oprah Winfrey?
They are all “normal” people. People who failed miserably.People who got cut from their team.People who didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in their mouth.
They took their humble beginnings and decided to use it as fuel.
They didn’t play victim. They didn’t blame their circumstances. They didn’t play small. They turned their ordinary life into an extraordinary one. In this week’s episode, I speak with my dear friends Chris and Justin Copeland about their hero’s journey and living a life that’s bigger than the moment that we’re in.
Please note, this episode has some audio issues at points - however the content still shines through. We hope you enjoy.

      <title>Control Freaks </title>
      <link>https://share.transistor.fm/s/feed87f6</link>
<description>Some things are just out of our hands. No matter how hard we try to control outcomes and circumstances we just don’t have that kind of power. But there are things we can change. We can change how we respond to moments like this.

In this episode, Johan speaks to the incredible Espree Devora on relinquishing control, embracing the adventure of life, how to create space for ease, and so much more.

A prolific podcaster since 2013, Espree Devora aka “the girl who gets it done” is a force in the Los Angeles tech scene, founder of WeAreLATech and championing Women in Tech globally, she’s also a founding member of the Audio Collective the hybrid live-audio creator community.

Host of multiple podcasts and one of the first Clubhouse icon faces, Espree has been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Harper’s Bazaar, Inc and more. She knows the power of audio after producing and publishing over 1000 podcast episodes and speaking at everything from SXSW to USC, Red Bull to CBS. She calls podcasting ‘painting audio’.

Espree cares about heart and integrity, not job titles. Connect with her on twitter here, twitter.com/espreedevora , on LinkedIn linkedin.com/in/espree or email her at espree@hey.com

<description>We live in a world where we are most interested in being right, than unified. What would it look like if instead of cancelling people we disagree with, we come to them with a genuine curiosity to find out why they are hurting?

What can we learn from people we disagree with?

This episode explores a future of living in a world where we can walk side-by-side.

Special Guests
