The play, which is in fact a three hour long rock opera, was written based upon forty-year-old notes originally written by Zigun that survived Hurricane Sandy. He consulted with PVW on filling in "gaps" in the outline lost to age and weather and on composing the music to the play. The result is a bold theatrical work that challenges both the audience and cast. Zigun discusses how he drew upon the community of artists with which he works year-round at Coney Island U.S.A. to help bring the production to life and also about his hopes to see Coney Island be recognized as a theater-going destination in it's "off season".
