Vito Labella is Fighting for New York! In this podcast, he shares his work in the dynamic world of local politics by stating transparently what he stands for and who his allies really are. Showing an unwavering commitment to the principles of freedom, tax reform, and accountability for all, he carries a reputation that goes beyond most retired police units. Labella shows the caliber of candidate he is in this show and in his activism within the 43rd district. Join us as we explore the inspiring journey of Vito Labella, a dedicated public servant with a vision for a brighter future for all. Whether you're a resident of the district or simply passionate about liberty and justice, Labella is a role model abroad.

About:
After serving New York City for 32 years with the NYPD, Vito dedicated his time to volunteering at the 9/11 Tribute Museum and serving the families of Brooklyn. In 2018, when the last New York City administration targeted Asian students because Christa McAuliffe Middle School was “too successful” in sending kids to Stuyvesant and Brooklyn Tech.

Families asked for help—and Vito stepped up.

With the help of his wife, Kim, Vito helped organize families, held press conferences, staged protests and marched on City Hall. Vito also testified before the City Council, NYS Assembly, and NYS Senate to advocate for parents within the community.

He co-founded PLACE NYC (placenyc.org), an organization that focuses on expanding school choice and gifted programs in the New York Public Schools System. Vito also ran and was elected (twice) to the Community Education Council.

Vito works tirelessly for accelerated education, as well as safety and improved accountability, integrity, and transparency in the city’s public school system.
Last year, Vito came remarkably close to victory in a competitive State Senate race, losing by a mere few hundred votes in the area that encompasses the new 43rd City Council District.

Throughout that campaign, the concerns of the people in South Brooklyn came through loud and clear:

The city faces distressing issues like increased crime rates, rampant shoplifting, mental health challenges, homelessness, and violations of civil rights.

Progressive officials have been silent or dismissive of these concerns.

Vito believes we need to keep fighting for our community and deliver conservative policy solutions to these problems. Working together we can stop the outflow of families from our schools and our city.

He continues to believe that South Brooklyn can be a place for families and their children to plant roots and thrive.

As your Councilman, Vito will build on his years of service in the community to help improve the quality of life in Brooklyn’s new 43rd City Council District.

Why New York Needs Criminal Justice Reform: Vito LaBella Discusses Key Issues

Vito LaBella is a candidate for the state senate in New York's 26th district. With a firm stance on law enforcement policies, LaBella has expressed strong opposition to the "Defund the Police" movement, a concept he considers overly simplistic and counterproductive. He notes that since 2019, and more prominently from 2023, efforts led by the Working Families Party and the Democratic Socialists of America in Albany have not only focused on reallocating police budgets but also on extensively restructuring the entire criminal justice system. LaBella draws attention to the complexity and impact of these legislative changes, suggesting that merely restoring funding would not address the deeper issues at hand. His campaign emphasizes a pragmatic approach to criminal justice, aiming to ensure effective law enforcement while addressing systemic concerns.

Pragmatic Solutions for District 26: Vito LaBella’s Approach to Governance

Vito LaBella is a dedicated candidate running for the state senate in New York's 26th district. With a firm belief in reducing costs for New Yorkers, enhancing public safety, and compassionately addressing the migrant situation, Vito's campaign is built on the principles of pragmatic solutions through bipartisan cooperation. Troubled by the current political climate that favors extreme positions over moderate dialogue, Vito stands against the divisive tactics employed by his opponent, who endorsed a gerrymandered district combining Brooklyn's most conservative and liberal neighborhoods and dismissed anyone not aligning with his progressive stance. Vito promises to be a unifying force, committed to listening to all constituents and advocating for common-sense policies that transcend partisan lines, demonstrating that effective problem-solving starts with true bipartisanship.

Learn more at vitolabellaforny.com

An Introduction to Vito LaBella, part 2

Welcome to my podcast, where I offer a candid and unfiltered perspective on the critical issues of our time. In this episode, we're diving deep into topics that matter, such as anti-police laws, education reform, far-left agendas, and police rights.

I don't pull punches when it comes to my views on anti-police laws. I firmly believe that many of these laws, often masquerading as reform measures, have overstepped their boundaries and are impeding the vital work of our law enforcement. Join me as I share my experiences with the unintended consequences of these laws and the toll they take on the brave people who protect our communities.

In this episode, we'll also explore my take on education reform. I argue that some education policies have become unnecessarily complex, leaving students and teachers to navigate a convoluted system designed to hinder the efforts of police. I advocate for a return to common-sense approaches to education, prioritizing the success of students and providing teachers with the support they deserve.

Far-left agendas have been a source of intense debate lately, and I'm not one to shy away from sharing my perspective. I'll shed light on what I see as the potential pitfalls of extreme ideologies and their impact on our society, including the challenges they pose to productive dialogue and compromise.

Furthermore, I'm a staunch supporter of police rights. I recognize the importance of striking a balance between accountability and support for law enforcement officers. I'll share my insights on how we can protect both our communities and the rights of those who serve and protect us.

Join me for an eye-opening conversation as I unpack my unapologetic views on these crucial issues that are shaping our society. Whether you agree or disagree with my opinions, this episode provides an opportunity to engage in important discussions about the direction of our country. Subscribe now to my podcast and be part of the conversation that's challenging the status quo in politics and policy.
